The new municipal council was installed on Friday, March 20, marking the transition between two terms. The outgoing mayor, Jean-Bernard Castex, who did not seek re-election, chaired the meeting for the last time before handing over to the dean of the assembly, Claude Housset, who was responsible for organizing the election of the new mayor. Matthieu Grindes was elected as the head of the commune with 9 votes in favor and 2 blank ballots.

Following this, the new mayor proposed the appointment of three deputies: Lucie Duclos, Yann Wesseling, and Johanna Pinana. Their appointment was confirmed, and they will now accompany the mayor in the exercise of his duties. A solemn moment of this first session was the presentation of the local elected official charter to each councilor, which was then read out loud by the mayor in accordance with the rules in force.

Many residents attended this first meeting of the new term, demonstrating their interest in municipal life.
