Rachel Legrain-Trapani is a mother hen and she takes it on. After her crowning of Miss France in 2007 and alongside a busy career since then, the pretty brunette built her little family. The beauty queen, now 37 years old, is mother of two childrenGianni, born from a first union with the footballer Aurélien Capoue in 2013 and a second little boy born in 2020 that she had with the former reality TV candidate Valentin Léonard. She married the latter in June 2024 during a ceremony full of emotions.

There was a point where it was very difficult for me and I think having Gianni helped me keep my head above water“.

Rachel Legrain-Tapani became a mother for the first time in 2013 at the age of 25. A few months after her marriage to French footballer Aurélien Capoue, the young woman announced her pregnancy and gave birth on December 23, 2013 to a little boy named Gianni. Three years later, she separated from her partner and became mère célibataire. After a brief relationship in 2018 with Benjamin Pavard, another French footballer, she finally found love in 2019. During these years, she experienced difficult times but could count on her her little boy, who was a real support for her.
Gianni had to adapt to his mother’s new companion
But in 2019, she met Valentin Léonard, the father of her second boy with whom she still shares her life and must adjust her daily life, between her son and her new lover. “I knew it was him from the first moment. So he met Gianni after a month of dating. Afterwards, it must be said that I became pregnant within two months.”she explained in a humorous tone. A quick adjustment that the two men in her life welcomed: “It’s true that we have this somewhat close relationship and it wasn’t easy for Valentin to arrive among the two of us. And then for Gianni it was complicated because he had his mother all to himself. And then there was Valentin and directly the little brother“.

Despite the arrival of a little boy and a new companion, Rachel and Gianni still share a close relationship. “Mom is too nice, even a little too nice”explained the little boy. “I can’t be mad at Gianni. […] That’s all, I’m like that, I’m a mother hen”. A fusion that is also felt on a daily basis: “She sticks to me”, explained Gianni, joined by his mother who admits to being afraid of letting her son go out with his friends.
