You only need to take the winding roads of Mont-Boron to understand why the greatest fortunes in the world settle there. Estimated at around 15 million euros, Elton John’s villa dominates the hills of Mont-Boronone of the most sought-after areas of Nice. This residential area is renowned for its exceptional panoramas over the Bay of Angels, the port of Nice and the warm waters of the Mediterranean. Known as Castel Mont-Albanthe residence was originally designed as a meeting place for artists. Over the years, it has become one of the most famous symbols of the private heritage of the Côte d’Azur, where many celebrities live.
Elton John stays there regularly with his husband David Furnish and their two sons, Zachary and Elijah. Far from concert halls and red carpets, the musician takes advantage ofa particularly preserved environment, surrounded by vegetation and breathtaking views of the coastline.
A villa transformed into an art gallery and reception venue
The decoration of the property was redesigned by architects Fred Dilger and Monique Gibson, who imagined a universe in the image of the singer. Formerly painted pink, the residence now displays a dazzling yellow facade became his signature. Monique Gibson summed up this change with a formula that has become famous, entirely in the spirit of the singer: “I loved pink, let’s love yellow“.
Inside, works of art take center stage.
Original creations by Andy Warhol feature alongside a metal mask by Roy Lichtenstein. Over the years, the villa has become a favorite meeting place for personalities from the world of entertainment and fashion. Liz Hurley, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Donatella Versace and even David Beckham have stayed there. In 2019, the visit of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle particularly attracted the attention of the international media when they arrived on the Côte d’Azur by private jet.

a huge swimming pool with turquoise waters. Lined with sculptures and open to the Mediterranean landscapes, it offers a spectacular view all the way to the shore.
