Ewan Corinaldesi, who received 50.47% of the votes on March 22, will not personally attend the installation of the municipal council this Saturday. Rossi, the outgoing mayor, plans to have his elected team represent vigilant, responsible, and constructive opposition during the transition of power to the new mayor.
Corinaldesi expressed disappointment at Rossi’s decision to contest the election results, emphasizing that any irregularities reported were from Rossi’s camp, and he sees no tangible basis for the challenge. Despite this, Corinaldesi is looking forward to leading Roquefort-les-Pins and meeting with municipal staff to kickstart his term without any resentment from previous political affiliations.
