And the gap continues to widen between Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola on one side, facing David, Victoria and the rest of their children on the other. Last January, Brooklyn Beckham created a surprise by publicly accusing his parents of having tried to interfere in his relationship with Nicola Peltz, whom he married in 2022. The young man notably affirmed that his famous parents had never accepted his marriage and accused them of having exerted various pressures on him. Among his grievances, Brooklyn also blamed his mother for having ruined his first dance with his wife during their wedding.
Faced with these accusations, Victoria Beckham chose to remain measured. After a first speech in the Wall Street Journal in spring, the former Spice Girl returned to the subject in the podcast Aspire. Without directly mentioning her son’s statements, she assured that her priority had always been to protect her children with David Beckham. “We have always tried to be the best parents possible†, she declared, also recalling the importance of communication and time spent with family despite the tensions currently shaking the famous British clan.

And this has also just been the case ofHarper Beckhamwho actually tried to visit the young lovebirds in Los Angeles! According to Hello, the youngest of the clan went there just a few hours after the ceremony during which David Beckham received his étoile sur le Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 14-year-old girl, present alongside her parents, Victoria Beckham, as well as her brothers Romeo and Cruz during the event, was glimpse in front of Brooklyn property dressed in the same outfit as worn during the ceremony.
This attempt at rapprochement, however, was not successful. As our British colleagues reveal, Harper left shortly after her arrival, finding that Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz were not therethe couple being in Miami at the time. Even if this visit did not bring the siblings together, it testifies to the desire of certain members of the Beckham clan to ease tensions. It now remains to be seen whether Brooklyn Beckham will respond to these gestures of rapprochement or whether the family divide will continue to widen in the coming months.
David and Victoria Beckham remain hopeful of finding their son Brooklyn
Despite the tensions which continue to shake the Beckham clan, David and Victoria would not have given up on the idea of reconciling with their eldest son. According to a source cited by Page Six last April, the lovers “don’t lose hope†to reconnect with their son. One event could also offer an opportunity for rapprochement: the 2026 Football World Cup, which takes place partly in the United States. David Beckham and his wife are expected to cross the Atlantic at this timewhich could allow them to find their son.
However, optimism remains measured. Hopes for an improvement in relations before the World Cup are dwindling. “Everything is at a standstill†, specified this same source. It remains to be seen whether the magic of football will get the better of this family war.
