High-level competitions, free concerts, youth activities and solidarity actions will take place on Cousteau beach in Saint-Laurent-du-Var of June 30 to July 26, 2026 Ã l’occasion du Beach Sport Festival.
Sports with four disciplinesis in the spotlight. Football volleyball, a mixture of football and volleyball played without hands, will open the ball on July 4 and 5 with a League of Champions bringing together the European elite.
Beach tennis will take over on July 11 and 12 with a tournament, before the finals of the French beach volleyball championship from July 17 to 19.
Finally, the French Open basketball team of three will close the event from July 23 to 26.
Amir, Chantal Goya, Patrick Hernandez…
The festival will give pride of place to music. It will be inaugurated on June 30 with Kiss FM live at 8:30 p.m., and will notably bring together Amir, Ambre, winner of the last Star Academy, as well as several artists from the local scene.
To bring together all generations on Laurentian beach, the Crazy beach party brings pop icons back on stage, notably with the groups Gibson Brother, Poetic Loverv,Chantal Goya, Patrick Hernandez and Jean-Pierre Mader.
This program was announced a few days after the cancellation of Patrick Bruel’s concert, scheduled for July 21.
Placed under judicial control since June 10 as part of an investigation into sexual violence, the singer has not been replaced for the moment.
A solidarity and charity festival
The festival will also bring together young people with a day dedicated to children on July 1, allowing them to discover several sporting disciplines for free.
Solidarity will remain one of the common threads of this edition. L’AFM-Téléthon, the League against Cancer 06 and the Attrap’ la Balle association will be associated with the different events.
The highlight will take place on July 10 with Tsonga & Friends, a day combining awareness, sport and fundraising, in the presence of Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Gaël Monfils, Richard Gasquet, Florent Manaudou or the former Italian basketball player Datome Teeth.
The solidarity dimension of the event will result this year in free all concerts and competitions, a decision presented as a strong gesture in an economic context considered difficult for many families.
The objective stated by the city: “Making the sporting and cultural spectacle accessible to as many people as possible”.
