The international star unmasked in “Mask Singer” is well known to Beyoncé fans.
She is an undisputed fan of the program broadcast on TF1. The investigators of Mask Singer received a visit from a new international star, during the show on Friday June 12. Hidden under the costume of the Bat, she performed Tina Turner’s cult song, The Bestwhile the public and members of the jury tried to discover his identity.

The American artist is mainly known for being a former member of the group Destiny’s Child alongside Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé herself. Since her participation in the girl’s band, Michelle Williams has released several solo albums and graced the Broadway stage in musicals.
Destiny’s Child’s career exploded at the dawn of the 2000s, with the group selling more than 60 million records and winning two Grammy Awards for their hits. Say My Name et Survivor. This famous American award was also one of the three clues given by TF1 to help the public recognize Michelle Williams.

The two other tracks shared with the spectators reported “tens of millions of albums sold” and a service «à la mi-temps du Super Bowl » – Destiny’s Child having reformed for one evening for the « halftime show » by Beyoncé in the NFL final in 2013. These clues and the performance on Tina Turner were enough for Kev Adams, Michaël Youn and Laurent Ruquier to identify Michelle Williams.
It must be said that the American’s participation in Mask Singer is not really a surprise: Beyoncé’s ex-stage partner is a fan of the show in which she had participated three times before joining the French version, as you can see below.
Her journey began in 2019 in the American version, where the singer hid under the Butterfly costume. She continued in 2022, with the British and Australian versions of the program where she was hidden respectively under the masks of the Grasshopper and the Microphone. She joins the long list of American stars who participated in the Mask Singer French, alongside Teri Hatcher and Gloria Gaynor.
