From June 26 to 28, 2026, the City of Lyon will celebrate its two emblematic rivers. On the program for this fifth edition: friendly moments at the water’s edge, with numerous activities, concerts and participatory workshops.
With more than 200 events, Lyon residents will have the opportunity to rediscover the banks of the Rhône and Saône from a festive, cultural and sporting perspective. Throughout the weekend, visitors will be able to participate in the “Sirens and Tritons” workshops, learn about different nautical practices or even discover diving thanks to the introductions offered at the Tony Bertrand Nautical Center. One of the highlights will undoubtedly be the return of drift swimming over 400 meters in the Rhône, scheduled for Sunday June 28 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Parc des Berges nord.
A program for all tastes
The artistic program also promises many moments of conviviality. On Friday June 26, the festivities will begin with the giant picnic “Ondine à la Guill’”, before giving way to the ImproLocura improvisation show. The evening will continue with the hybrid pop of Esther Esther, the spectacular Dragon Time mixing fire and acrobatics, then the festive concert by the group Le Gumbo.
On Saturday June 27, the banks will vibrate to the sound of the wild electropop of VIXA and the solar pop of Melba. After a new performance of Dragon Time, a DJ set will take over before a dancing finale carried by the live house sounds of House of Unity.
Finally, Sunday June 28 will be dedicated to family and escape with the young audience show La Légende du Cocotier, inspired by Tahitian legends. The day will continue with concerts of film music and video games, performed by La Band’Originale, before ending with the electro-brass sounds of the group Acmé.
