The Art and culture-La Chouette association offers a varied program in the heart of the Chamatte massif in the commune of Allons (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). In partnership with the Nuits des forêts association, the National Forestry Office (ONF) and the Alpes-Provence-Verdon community of communes, participants will be able to disperse between documentary film, immersion sound and visual theater, nature walks and jazz concerts.
On Friday June 12, 2026 at 8 p.m. at Allons, we will meet in front of the multipurpose room for a screening of Restoring the mountain – The time of the foresters from 1827 to the present day in the company of the NFB, then at 9:30 p.m. departure on foot for a nighttime theatrical immersion in the forest: Flipogène.
On Saturday June 13, 2026 at 1:30 p.m., also in Allons, the meeting point is set in front of the town hall for an afternoon in the forest. A single itinerary but 2 options: a commented walk with reading of the landscape, observation of the fauna and flora, forester’s profession – accompanied by an ONF agent and a guide in mid-mountain – or naturalist game with the family: “The forester’s treasure”, from 7 years old – accompanied by an ONF agent and an agent from La Chouette.
The two groups will enjoy a double bass concert and reading breaks in the middle of the forest. Then, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., an evening at the green theater will be offered: visit to the green theater and the conservatory garden with Les Croqueurs de pomme and the Verdon Regional Natural Park, followed by a jazz concert.
