The forum gave rise to a speech by Dr Bebeb AK Nugraha Djundjunan, ambassador to Greece, and Surya Tri Harto, president and CEO of PIS.
Ambassador Djundjunan highlighted Indonesia’s strategic position as the world’s largest archipelagic nation and a key maritime hub in Asia. He outlined investment opportunities in the shipping, ports, logistics, shipbuilding, fishing, offshore energy and blue economy development sectors, while highlighting the role of Indonesia’s major ports in strengthening regional and global trade links.
One of the main themes discussed was strengthening connections between Indonesia, ASEAN, Greece and Europe through an integrated sea-land-rail logistics framework aimed at supporting resilient global trade routes.
Furthermore, Surya Tri Harto presented PIS’s long-term strategic framework “S4GO”, designed to make the company a major integrated player in the maritime and logistics sector. This strategy aims to strengthen the main maritime transport activity by developing the transport of goods on behalf of third parties and modernizing the fleet with eco-designed ships. Additionally, PIS is accelerating its global expansion through strategic partnerships and establishing a commercial presence in key international markets.
The “S4GO” plan also plans to expand PIS’ offshore portfolio of activities by integrating floating energy infrastructure such as FSOs (floating storage and offloading units), FPSOs (floating production, storage and offloading units). unloading) and FLNGs (floating liquefied natural gas units), while pursuing its sustainable development objectives. These ecological initiatives favor dual-fuel solutions, the supply of non-fossil fuels and the modernization of terminals.
