Varennes (Québec), June 10, 2026 TheNewswire – CORPORATION Charbone (TSXV: CH,OTC:CHHYF; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47) (“Charbone” or the “Company”), a vertically integrated company specialized in industrial gases, focused on the production, distribution and storage of Ultra High Purity Clean Hydrogen (“UHP”) and other strategic industrial gases, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a long-term hydrogen supply agreement with Hone Inc. (“Hone “), a provider of mobile hydrogen power solutions for various applications, including the film and television production industry.
Develop a proven business relationship
This agreement follows the announcement, on January 22, 2026, by Charbone of its first sales of hydrogen in Ontario to Hone. The long-term supply agreement with Hone formalizes and expands this business relationship, demonstrating the growing acceptance of Charbone’s clean hydrogen as a proven energy solution for on-site power generation in one of North America’s most dynamic generation markets.
Â
Hone provides mobile hydrogen power, a clean alternative to diesel generators for film and television productions. The trailer-mounted 165 kW ICE hydrogen generators replicate the operation of standard 1,400 amp diesel generators used in production, eliminating emissions on film sets. Each day of use avoids the emission of more than 1.5 tonnes of CO2 compared to diesel systems. Charbone’s hydrogen fuels Hone’s Fuel Blockâ„¢ refueling system, a proprietary solution enabling continuous power supply throughout production.
Growing acceptance in the entertainment industry
The commercial success of this partnership demonstrates the practical viability of hydrogen as a clean, reliable energy source in mobile and time-constrained production environments. A major Hollywood studio, with several productions filmed in Toronto, has used Hone’s hydrogen generator services and Charbone’s clean hydrogen, providing an important validation of the technology and the supply chain that supports it.
Contractual conditions
The long-term supply contract is binding and covers a period of two years, subject to conditions agreed by both parties.
In accordance with its usual practice, Charbone does not disclose the volume, price or financial terms of this commercial agreement in order to preserve its competitive position in the market. The company has found that demand for its clean UHP hydrogen continues to outstrip available supply, a market dynamic that underscores the strategic importance of expanding Charbone’s production network. Revenues generated from the Company’s production, distribution and service activities are presented on a consolidated basis in its quarterly financial statements.
