The city of Amiens is hosting, for the fourth consecutive year, the launch of the “Parcours du Coeur,” a national event organized by the French Federation of Cardiology in partnership with the Maison Sport Santé of Amiens Métropole and the municipal public health service.

In a region where premature cardiovascular mortality (before 65 years) exceeds 40% of the national average, prevention of cardiovascular diseases is of paramount importance. In this context, the event will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the Place de l’Hôtel de Ville in Amiens, serving as a key moment of awareness and prevention of cardiovascular diseases, open to all audiences. The free event will offer a wide range of activities and advice to better understand cardiovascular risks and adopt heart-healthy behaviors.

Visitors can enjoy several stands run by healthcare professionals and partner associations offering screenings for cardiovascular risks, prevention and practical advice, information on healthcare rights, and more. This annual event aims to strengthen prevention efforts and encourage a healthy lifestyle for all.

By combining screenings, information, and physical activities, the Parcours du Coeur contributes to raising public awareness about cardiovascular health issues. This event is made possible by the support of many local and regional actors, including Amiens Métropole Cyclisme, the French Federation of Cardiology in Picardie, the Maison Prévention Santé (City of Amiens), Maison Sport Santé (Amiens Métropole), and the Amiens Picardie University Hospital (cardiology department).

Save the date for March 28 in Amiens, Place de l’Hôtel de Ville, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, visit the website of the French Federation of Cardiology: www.fedecardio.org
