Iran announced on Wednesday that it had targeted American bases in the Gulf in retaliation for Washington’s strikes against Iranian targets along the Strait of Hormuz, in a new regional conflagration after the destruction of an American helicopter attributed to Tehran.
American President Donald Trump assured Tuesday morning that he was close to a très, très bon accord
to put an end to the hostilities opened on February 28, citing a deadline of two to three days

Early Wednesday, Iran announced attacks on American bases sheltered by Bahrain and Jordan. And in Kuwait, the army said it faced hostile air targets
without specifying their origin.
In Jordan, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had targeted and destroyed four major targets, including groups of F35 fighters at an air base and the US military command center
of Azraq, the Jordanian army announcing having shot down five Iranian missiles.
In Bahrain, fighters from this ideological Iranian army announced that they had carried out a drone attack against the Fifth Fleet
American. Shortly after, the warning sirens sounded in this Gulf country.
The Guardians justified their operation by American attacks carried out during the night on Jask, Sirik and the island of Qeshm, on the southern coast of Iran, in the still blocked Strait of Hormuz. These have damaged a telecommunications tower in Sirik and destroyed two water tanks in the town
they specified.
Iranian media had earlier reported several series of explosions near the strait, a strategic route for the global transport of hydrocarbons.
