The Israeli Ministry of Defense is participating this week in the ILA Berlin 2026 aeronautical and defense show at the head of a delegation bringing together fifteen companies in the sector, in a context marked by record Israeli military exports. The opening ceremony of the Israeli national pavilion was held on Wednesday under the auspices of the Directorate of International Defense Cooperation (SIBAT), in the presence of the main leaders of the country’s defense industry.
This participation comes after a historic year for Israeli defense exports, which exceeded $19 billion in 2025. This progression was notably driven by the extension of the agreement concluded with Germany around the Arrow 3 anti-missile system.
Organized every two years in Berlin, the ILA show is considered one of the most important global meetings for aeronautics, space and defense. For Israel, the event represents a strategic showcase intended to strengthen existing partnerships with Germany and develop new cooperation with other European countries.

The Israeli delegation presents several defense technologies proven in operational conditions, covering in particular aerospace systems, air defense, unmanned platforms and anti-drone solutions, radars, electronic warfare, command and control integrating artificial intelligence, as well as homeland security technologies.
SIBAT Director Yair Kulas stressed that international demand for Israeli technologies continues to grow, saying that Israel’s presence in Berlin reflects the Defense Ministry’s desire to deepen its strategic cooperation with Germany and to expand its industrial partnerships in Europe.
The Israeli Ambassador to Germany, Ron Prosor, for his part affirmed that the technologies exhibited demonstrated Israel’s contribution to the security of Germany and Europe, in a context of common security challenges, in particular in the face of Iranian influence and the terrorist threat. He also highlighted the potential for future joint projects in the areas of research, technological development and industrial production.
Among the Israeli companies present are Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems, alongside a dozen other companies specializing in defense and security technologies.
