Bitche: The music school opens its doors to future musicians on Saturday

The Pays de Bitche music school welcomes you this Saturday, June 13! From 10 a.m., the music school invites the public to its open days. Concerts, awareness workshops and lunchtime catering are on the program.

This Saturday, it is not only a discovery of places that awaits the public at the Bitche music school, as explained Laetitia Balva, the president.

This year, we combined the end-of-year concert and the open days to already allow interested people to come and see what music is.

The morning will begin with a concert given by the students, musicians ranging from 4 to over 60 years old.

They will show the public everything they have learned this year, their progress. What’s also interesting for them is playing in front of an audience, because that teaches us to control our emotions, to be square, that’s it.

Open, awareness and initiation courses, dedicated to the youngest, will be held by the school’s teachers.     

And in the afternoon, therefore, the opportunity that the children will have is to meet the teacher. They will have the right to test the instrument. It’s quite funny, there are children who already arrived with preconceived ideas, “I want to play drums, I want to play guitar”, and finally, they came out having signed up for the flute or the trumpet.   

Encourage passions from a young age

One of the objectives is in particular to awaken future vocations in children.

What is always good is that children start music early, so if we can have children who begin the awakening, the initiation, and then they are trained in the instruments, that is a bit the objective.

During the day, it will also be possible to register and reserve your place for the next school year.

We already know that there are certain instruments that will be in tension like the piano, the violin, the guitar… The slots fill up quickly, so, it’s true that if you register in June, you are sure to have your place in September.

The music school opens its doors freely to everyone this Saturday from 10 a.m.
