The Chifoumix collective was formed at the time of Covid in 2021 to fight against the ambient gloom and offer original artistic events in local homes or in the form of walks in the region’s towns. This collective is made up of a group of artist friends from various disciplines, music, cinema, visual arts, digital arts, who combine personal or collective creations and present them during unexpected and friendly evenings or weekends.
Art, sounds and nature in dialogue
The proposals unfold along a journey between nature and architectural heritage and, after having invested the commune of Boisseron, it is with the complicity of the municipality of Salinelles that this new festival will be deployed in the emblematic places of the village such as the wash house, the castle, its lawns and its Orangery, the Saint-Julien chapel. Participants will be able to discover exhibitions by Florence Barbéris, Astrig Boissier and Estelle Lacombe, a Ludicart participatory kinetic installation by Jean-Robert Sédano and Solveig de Ory. A short film by José Huerta and a playful Light painting installation alternately. A gong bath and interactive sound deckchairs on the lawn will offer a still sound journey.
On Saturday evening a Permafrost concert with Étienne Briquet and Yann Legagne, followed by a pictorial performance by Florence Laforêt. On Sunday it will be Gong and voices with Eric Lacombe and Valérie Cros. And all weekend, an in situ creation by the Chifoumix group: the old wash house will be transformed into a sound boat with white and blue sails.
The public will be welcomed at each of the sites on Saturday June 13 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Flat rate of €15, valid for both days, free for under 16s. It is essential to register in advance by SMS to 06 62 17 50 39 or by email infos@chifoumix.fr indicating the number of people and day(s) chosen.
