The main reason for the couple’s choice of this venue was the maximum security guaranteed for their wedding. Madison Square Garden (MSG) features a diverse entrance and exit system, coupled with state-of-the-art security infrastructure, enabling the secure transportation of guests in enclosed buses. Currently, access to the complex is completely free from June 29 to July 6, dates which coincide with those of the wedding. If MSG representatives have not yet reacted, New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch made cryptic remarks regarding future security measures in the city, particularly during major events such as the NBA qualifiers or the World Cup final at MetLife Stadium.
The wedding of the century is expected to accommodate between 1,100 and 1,200 guests. Expected longtime friends include Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran and model Gigi Hadid. Singer Suki Waterhouse, companion of actor Robert Pattinson (player of Batman), has also confirmed her presence. Waterhouse will open for Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” in 2024.
