There is always a desire to go out for a walk to discover the heritage and natural treasures of Morbihan. Even if the sun is sometimes shy at the beginning of 2026, rest assured, there is plenty to do. Here is a (non-exhaustive) selection of activities.
Pousser les portes d’Ostréapolis
What could be better than a museum to combat the gloomy weather? Discover Ostréapolis and uncover the mysteries of oyster farming. Located in Tour-du-Parc, about thirty km from Vannes, visit this center dedicated to oyster farming and sea products.
Designed for nature lovers, it offers captivating exhibitions, interactive activities, and educational workshops. An immersive journey allows you to have a true experience and be an actor in your visit. You can also try your hand at cooking in dedicated workshops.

Un peu d’histoire au CIAP de Limur
If you want to learn more about the history of Vannes, do not hesitate to visit the CIAP de Limur. The establishment welcomes you free of charge every day (check opening hours) and tells you about the treasures of the capital of Morbihan. A few raindrops won’t stop you from being guided through the old town or participating in guided tours and shows.
For children, it is even possible to participate in workshops such as investigations and puzzles to solve. A rewarding weekend for the whole family.
Pratique: 31 rue Thiers, Vannes.
Un parc de loisirs
Several amusement parks offer activities. You can visit climbing halls B’Wall in Lanester and Vannes, bowling in Vannes with Master, or paddle tennis in Saint-Avé with MS Padel.
Speed Park in Vannes offers a variety of leisure activities: bowling, indoor karting, laser tag, billiards, video games, karaoke, arcade games, quiz room, and an experimental Park.
For this last experience, the goal is to collect as much energy as possible by completing various challenges. One hour, let’s go!
Finally, 35 minutes from Vannes, the casino in Arzon opens its doors for a family or friends moment. Rain or shine, it is always possible to hit the jackpot. Don’t hesitate to have a meal between games and enjoy tapas and attractively priced menus.
Tournée des cidreries
For cider enthusiasts, visit the local cideries. The Gorvelo distillery welcomes you all year round for a tasting. Located in the village of Gorvello, in Sulniac, the Gorvello Distillery is a small farm run in organic agriculture.
Specializing in cider apple tree cultivation, they offer: cider brandies, distillation residue, a house specialty, the Petit Prince Guillevic, an original blend of Guillevic apple cider and white cider brandy, and several apple juices with unique flavors. You can even visit the estate with a producer. The visit lasts 1.5 hours, including a tasting.
Parc de loisirs indoor
To entertain the little ones on rainy days from April to September, nothing beats indoor parks. P’tit d’élire in Ploemel offers a 700m² space with various activities for children. They can climb to the top of a tower and access Lego bricks to build a beautiful hut.
For the more adventurous, a foam ball battle is possible thanks to cannons that propel them with air. The indoor playground offers several alternatives: rope knots, ball pit, roller sleds, climbing nets, carousels, swings, and slides. For the comfort of parents, there is an area with tables and seats. A way to spend a sporty afternoon with the family.
