Two simultaneous events are putting America in the spotlight in Béziers this weekend of June 6 and 7. The Béziers Country Fest had the Biterrois dancing at the Sauclières stadium, while the “America at the Arena” event offered visitors a cultural summary.
“It’s music that carries us away, that takes us into another universe,” enthuses Bernadette Marino, organizer of the Country Fest Béziers which took place at the Sauclières stadium in Béziers on Saturday June 6. She faces nearly two hundred people dancing in a line, most of them wearing cowboy boots. In a simple atmosphere, “and countryside like in Texas”, dance times and concerts continued all weekend. Participants were even able to enjoy Texas music from the Fort Worth Wranglers who came from Dallas specifically for the event.

An American wind was also blowing on the arenas of Béziers. Large cylinders, vintage American cars rubbed shoulders with Pin-ups and American football players. The family atmosphere allowed us to discover a summary of American culture, particularly in its XXL version.
