The Short Film Festival started on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Cinema Numéro 3 in Riec-sur-Bélon. After the teenagers, adults will be the guests on Friday, March 27. Starting at 8:00 p.m., the audience is invited to watch the “heartfelt moments” from the official selection and will see well-known names from the current French cinema such as Pierre Niney, François Civil, Reda Kateb, and many others. Films like “Omnibus” by Sam Karmann, “For the Role” by Pierre Niney, “Beach Flags” by Sarah Salman, “The Blue White Red of My Hair” by Josza Anjembe, and “Pitchoune” by Reda Kateb will be shown. Registration is recommended. The Salmidanach association will provide drinks and snacks before and after the screening. A day dedicated to welcoming the schoolchildren from the four schools in the municipality, along with their teachers, will conclude this first week of short films in the municipality on Tuesday, March 31, with a tailored program by age group (preschool, 1st-4th grade, 5th-8th grade).
