TELEVISION. Danick Martineau will be part of the new version of “Fear Factor Celebrities†, whose episodes will land this Friday (June 5), on the Crave platform.

In this show that pushes the limits, personalities are called upon to face extreme challenges in the company of one of their loved ones. When we contacted him to see if he would be interested, Danick Martineau immediately accepted. “It’s a show linked to personal surpassing and difficult challenges, he says. I think I’m quite associated with the guy who’s “game†to do everything. In a context of play and competition, the world also quickly thinks of me.â€

In this adventure, he will be accompanied by his partner Salomé Bengoufa-Maltais. “As soon as I have a plus-one in life, no matter why, I always invite my girlfriend. Plus, she’s not afraid of anything. She’s an adrenaline girl. Being able to live this kind of experience with a loved one is really cool. Often, on big shoots, we’ll experience it alone and talk about it afterwards. To experience all that with her, it was special.â€

It really is incredibly intense. We feel the difficulty of the challenges through all the participants.”

The couple faced challenges related to heights. Danick remembers one, in particular, which required intervention from the medical team. “They “strapped me†on the roof of a school bus doing “donuts†in a parking lot. I had to go and tear off the flags stuck to each side of the vehicle. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done in my life. I got out of there and vomited endlessly. They had to take me out in a wheelchair and hook me up to oxygen. Let’s say that Patrick Huard [l'animateur de cette émission] laughed at my face.â€

Even if he experienced a roller coaster of emotions during filming, Danick would not hesitate for a second to do this type of challenge again. “It’s difficult at the time, it’s challenging, but it remains the experience of a lifetime,” he says.
