Under a sunny sky, the residents of the nursing home met recently in Durenque for an outing dedicated to trout fishing.
After a friendly picnic under the trees of the Roupeyrac mill park, they were welcomed at the edge of the pond by the president of the AAPPMA Claude Baumes and the pond manager Thierry Rouam, who guided them for a trout fishing session. Among them, a resident accustomed to happy places and moved to be able to satisfy his passion.
The other residents, too, snagged their first catches, under the benevolent eyes of the team. A day rich in sharing and memories, which will remain engraved in their memory. The Réquista fishing association was thanked for its warm welcome.
On Wednesday, residents enjoyed a cinema outing in Réquista with Génération movement for the film “Compostelle”.
Then, Thursday, another outing, this time to the Arvieu nautical base, with the residents of the Solea group to share a beautiful and large picnic on the edge of Lake Pareloup.
The weather was exceptional, pleasant under the large trees. The facilitators of the Solea group were warmly thanked for this beautiful day which was very appreciated by the residents.
