Monday June 1, at 4:30 p.m., the Vivre Bouluech association opens its literary café at the Moulin de Bouluech, with an essential character and novel. Grasset published Hervé Bazin’s Vipère au fist in 1948, presenting this novel as an autobiography. The scandal made a splash. How to react to these waves of hatred? In 2025, still at Grasset, edition of “Folcoche” by journalist Émilie Lanez, and the scandal changes the deep meaning of the novel. Good reading if you haven’t already… Colette Roudergue, the president, specifies that the literary café is open to everyone.

The Vivre Bouluech association will hold its festival at the mill on June 21 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. For this day, a garage sale and a small flea market will be organized (€2.50 per linear meter); the afternoon will be devoted to games (ping-pong, cards, Mölkky etc.). The mill will of course be open to visitors and a refreshment bar available all day. As usual, a tripoux lunch can start from 9 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. Cold meats or salad, tripoux and potatoes, or exotic rice and chicken, apple pie or other, coffee and quarter of wine included, will be served for €18. Reservations essential on 06 82 77 01 09.

We cannot talk about the association without recounting the last session on May 11 which, in front of a large audience, mixed choral singing with literature. The Cor d’Omes du Bouyssou ensemble, which includes some Bagnacois, offered a concert of polyphonic songs on the theme of peace, social and human history. Much enthusiasm and volume filled the large hall of the mill and won over an attentive audience.
