DECRYPTION – Theorized by radical nationalist movements, “remigration” is gaining visibility on the continent and finding support in certain far-right political parties.
After Milan in 2025, Porto is hosting this Saturday, May 30, the 2026 edition of the “Remigration Summit,” a conference organized by several far-right European movements. For 45 euros (and up to 325 euros for access “premium”…), participants will be able to see the main continental figures of the«remigration»a concept defended by radical identity and nationalist movements, which advocates the mass expulsion of foreigners in the name of preserving national and cultural identity.
On their website, the organizers define it as “a democratic, legal, long-term (20 to 30 years) process aimed at removing harmful illegal immigrants and legal migrants, and exerting pressure on unassimilated parallel societies in order to restore cultural harmony within the nation.”.
