In Europe and elsewhere, apart from Spain, the movement against the highly dangerous war in the Middle East remains too weak. However, day by day, the situation worsens, fueled by the “American-Israeli” aggression – in violation of multiple international laws – and by Iranian responses, unleashing their missiles and drones on American interests in the Gulf countries. This Iranian strategy, aimed at urging these nations to intervene with Trump to stop the bombings on Iran, also violates international law.
Another step is taken with the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and bombings on Iranian energy sites and nuclear laboratories, once again, in violation of international law.
Already, a global energy crisis is unfolding with severe repercussions for the entire global economic activity, while economic growth indicators remained stagnant at their lowest.
The weakness of the people’s movement, popular movements, and anti-war movements in our countries can be attributed to the challenge of articulating opposition to this malefic American-Israeli war duo and support for the Iranian people – seeking liberation and emancipation against the ruthless and criminal Islamic theocracy.
