ALERIA – All in the saddle for the San Marcellu
The feast of San Marcellu, patron saint of grooms, will celebrate Corsican traditions through a weekend mixing culture, conviviality and gastronomy. On Saturday May 30, the festivities begin at 7 p.m. with a musical aperitif followed, at 9 p.m., by a concert by the group Sumenta Nova. On Sunday May 31, the celebrations will begin at 9 a.m. with the procession of horsemen from Mare  Stagnu beach to the church square, followed at 10:30 a.m. by the blessing of the horses and by mass at 11 a.m. hours. Throughout the day, horse-related activities, traditional games and craft and catering stands will be offered on the fairgrounds.
TAGLIO-ISOLACCIO – Health and immunity at Parc Galea this Sunday
On the program at Parc Galea this Sunday, May 31. At 2 p.m., biologist Elisa Hardy, research engineer at the University of Corsica, will talk about bacterial resistance and give ideas for thwarting it. At 3 p.m., still around this subject, immunologist Nadine Cerf-Bensussan, research director at Inserm and pioneer in the understanding of inflammatory diseases linked to the digestive tract, will give the major conference of the weekend on the theme: “Microbiota and immunity, a hidden ecosystem essential to our health! “
At the same time, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., mosaic and turmeric painting workshops for children. From midday: food truck crepes and Breton pancakes or picnic.
BASTIA – The youth market returns to Place Saint-Nicolas
On May 30, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Place Saint-Nicolas in Bastia hosts the 5th edition of the Vinted Market, organized by the CCAS of the City of Bastia and its social center. Young people, aged 6 to 18, will offer a wardrobe sale with the sale and exchange of clothes, accessories and second-hand items. A place to hunt and find good deals.
PIGNA –  Fanou Torracinta and Kusika en concerts à l’auditorium
Fanou Torracinta presents his latest album The Beautiful Life, Friday May 29 at 9 p.m., in the auditorium. On June 2, CNCM Voce welcomes Kusika: a musical encounter between jazz, rock and world music. The concerts start at 9 p.m.
LÃŽLE-ROUSSE – On the program for Saint-Erasmus
In L’ÃŽle-Rousse, celebration of Saint-Erasmus Day with a wreath-laying, at 5 p.m., followed by a mass with the brotherhoods, a procession to the Quai d’Orléans with blessing at sea, then an aperitif offered by the municipality.
SUNDAY – A day dedicated to the sea urchin
As part of the CNRS Ecology Environment Biodiversity Week 2026, the Stella Mare research platform is offering a day open to the general public around the purple sea urchin and the challenges of ecological restoration of the Corsican coastline Thursday June 4 from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Severa Marine Luri. A round table entitled “Fishing and coastline in Corsica: combined perspectives between history, culture and ecology” will bring together researchers from the LISA Laboratory (Università di Corsica / CNRS) and specialists from Stella Mare.
Activities, information stands and an exhibition dedicated to the linguistic and historical heritage of fishing in Corsica will also be offered to the public.
PRUNELLI DI FIUM’ORBU – The village seen by 12 photographers
Until October 4, the village of Prunelli di Fium’Orbu is hosting a photographic exhibition in the open air and in the community hall. Twelve photographers from the Fium’Orbu Club Photo present their works in the heart of the village.
