Videos of unidentified flying objects, recently declassified by the Pentagon, are reigniting the debate on unexplained aerial phenomena. Between testimonies from pilots, military images and advanced drone hypotheses, the American authorities promise new publications, without confirming an extraterrestrial origin.

An unidentified spherical flying object, shot down in mid-flight by an American combat plane. The image is one of 64 documents declassified yesterday by the Pentagon. Unexplained scenes, such as a star shape that moves erratically. Or an object flying in the sky over Syria in 2024.

In an instant, he escaped American surveillance, at the cost of an impressive acceleration. This is the second time in a few weeks that the army has put this type of documents online on the orders of Donald Trump, who wishes to satisfy his electorate hungry for answers.

A strange form was filmed in 2013. But some elements are more than 60 years old, such as the testimony of Jim Lovell during a mission in 1965 where we can hear him say: “I see a shiny body in the axis of the sun with a black background and billions of particles around it.” Alex Dietrich, a former combat pilot, also remembers seeing a surprising phenomenon during training in 2004, she says: “It was broad daylight with a perfectly clear sky and we saw this strange object that was behaving strangely and defying the laws of physics.”

Most of the most recent videos were taken in war zones. Syria, Iraq, Iran. So, new types of drones, state-of-the-art weaponry or paranormal encounters? Scientists are calling for continued investigations. “I believe these documents suggest that there is something to be explored and that we should not ignore it. We must do it with a rational eye to find an explanation,” explains Garry Nolan, professor at Stanford University and UFO specialist.

The Pentagon does not confirm the existence of extraterrestrial life, but it promises to soon release more documents on these inexplicable phenomena.
