Donald Trump said Thursday, May 21, that he might miss his son Don Jr’s wedding this weekend, saying it was the “bad time” because of the conflict with Iran.

“He would like me to come. It’s in a small group, I’m going to try to go,” the American president told journalists in the Oval Office.

“I told him ‘it’s not the right time for me. I have this thing called Iran and other things,'” continued the Republican billionaire. Donald Trump Junior, more commonly known as Don Jr, is due to marry Bettina Anderson in the Bahamas this weekend, according to the American press. This is his second marriage.

Donald Trump wishes his son a “very beautiful union”

“I’m obviously a loser. If I go, I’ll get shot. If I don’t go, I’ll get shot – by the lying media of course (fake news),” Donald Trump said again.

The American president is the father of five children born from three different unions. However, he wished his son a “very beautiful union”.

Don Jr, 48, runs the Trump Organization with his brother Eric, a company which brings together his father’s real estate and hotel businesses, while also carrying out other financial and economic activities. He is also an ardent defender of the policies and ideas of the American president.
