Sunday May 17, the majesties of the Pourleth Carnival were officially presented by Monique Le Tennier, Christophe Lamouroux and Nathalie Blais, members of the organizing committee. For this first outing, they discovered the flowered float “The Queens of the Century” on which they will take place this Sunday, May 24, for the big parade.
Laura, 15 years old, habitue du carnaval
Laura Le Puil, 15, from Séglien, is currently a student in 3rd grade and wishes to continue in second general, in Pontivy. Sporty and creative, she practices fencing and particularly appreciates manual and artistic activities. Already familiar with the atmosphere of the carnival, she already paraded alongside a monumental cavalcade float during her childhood. Curious and open to the world, she likes to discover new cultures.
Isla, 16 ans, from Sydney
At his side, Isla Croyston, 16, is having a unique experience. Originally from Australia, she has been staying in Séglien since January as part of a cultural and linguistic immersion, until the end of the school year. A secondary school student in Pontivy, she plays rugby both in France and in Sydney. Very attached to the discovery of local traditions, she confesses without hesitation: “I particularly appreciate Breton culture”.
Emmie, 15 years old, passion Miss
Finally, Emmie Lemarchand, 15 years old, from Cléguérec, completes this trio of majesties. A 3rd grade student, she is also considering a second general in Pontivy. Passionate about cooking and reading, she loves experiencing new adventures. Note that the day before the Cavalcade, Saturday May 23, the young woman will participate in the Miss Morbihan 15-17 year old election, which will take place in Locminé.
