After a successful season, Paris FC is preparing for the next phase of its sports project. Antoine Arnault publicly expressed his desire to continue working with Antoine Kombouaré, the man behind the club’s recent transformation. But the Parisian leader is also looking ahead, dreaming of one day attracting Jürgen Klopp to the Paris FC sidelines.

Kombouaré’s extension? Initially brought in during a critical period when Paris FC was fighting relegation last February, Kombouaré quickly revitalized the team. Strong results, a renewed team spirit, and visible progress in the game have convinced the management to continue the journey with the 62-year-old coach.

While speaking on RMC’s After Foot, Antoine Arnault praised Kombouaré’s work, stating, “We loved working with Kombouaré in recent months. The results speak for themselves, and all you have to do is watch a Paris FC match to see the team’s transformation.”

Arnault noted that Kombouaré’s future hinges not only on the club’s decision but also on the coach’s health issues, which require a decision in the coming days. Arnault expressed the club’s desire to continue with Kombouaré, acknowledging the coach’s health concerns.

Klopp in the crosshairs in the long term, Paris FC’s dream. While focusing on short-term continuity with Kombouaré, the Paris FC leadership is also eyeing long-term aspirations. Antoine Arnault envisions the club’s development leading to potentially attracting a global football figure like Jürgen Klopp, the current Global Director of Football for the Red Bull group and a shareholder of the club.

The former Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund coach represents an ideal figure in Paris FC’s future plans. Arnault enthusiastically stated, “If we make it to the Champions League, I would love to convince Jürgen Klopp to coach our team.”

Arnault is aware that this scenario may not materialize immediately. Klopp, seeking some respite after his intense years in European football, is not rushing back to coaching. However, Arnault believes an opportunity might arise in the coming years, expressing his dream of having Klopp’s expertise and positive aura with the team down the line.
