United States: Small plane makes emergency landing on highway and narrowly misses familys car

The images are chilling. On May 10, a family narrowly escaped a violent accident in Arizona, United States. According to the New York Post, a small tourist plane had to make an emergency landing on the highway and hit their vehicle. This scene was recorded by a dashboard camera.

The family was returning home from a hike when they suddenly saw a small plane flying very low above the highway. “Look, look!” exclaimed the mother in the video. The plane can be seen dangerously approaching the road, and especially their vehicle.

“Oh my God, why is it so low?” continued the mother, as all the car’s occupants began to worry. Fortunately, her husband managed to narrowly avoid the plane, which still struck the family’s pickup truck. The aircraft then continued for several meters and hit a sign before coming to a stop on the median.

“It’s still unreal when I look at the images,” said the mother quoted by our colleagues. Miraculously, no one was injured, including the pilot. The family’s vehicle was only slightly grazed by the plane’s propeller. An investigation has been opened to determine the exact circumstances of this accident, which could have been tragic.
