The Cultural Association of the Mines de Bruoux (ACMB) held its annual general meeting in the Gargas community hall. “2025 has been an exciting season at all levels,” said President Yvan Isaac after reading the activity report. “There is a strong commitment among volunteers. The old members were happy to reunite, and we were pleased to welcome several new faces. The attendance was satisfactory with an average of 200 spectators out of a capacity of 300.”

After thanking the town hall for its support and the volunteers for their involvement, Yvan Isaac unveiled the program for the summer of 2026. It will kick off on June 26 with a contemporary music evening featuring the Apt Conservatory and several local groups. On July 23, the Hop Hop Hop Crew with 5 musicians will perform Balkan music.

On July 30, the theater group Trac (Rural Cultural Animation Theater) from Beaumes-de-Venise will perform “Carmen.” August 20 will feature a picnic and cinema evening (film to be decided) to close the season. Dance will not be overlooked, as the date and program are still being finalized.

“Our goal is to reach varied audiences, especially the younger generation, hence the choice of contemporary music to further energize our cultural events,” concluded Yvan Isaac, who aims for an eclectic program. It’s worth noting that many improvements have been made to the Mines de Bruoux site where the performances take place. The chairs have been replaced with bleachers, and the stage and lighting have also been modified to enhance the quality of the shows. Undoubtedly, the audience will appreciate these new upgrades.
