Two American military planes collided on Sunday, May 17, during an air show at the Mountain Home base in Idaho. The incident occurred at the Gunfight Skies air show.

A video released by CBS shows the two planes colliding and quickly losing altitude. Four parachutes were seen ejecting from the aircraft as they caught fire and crashed to the ground in a heavy explosion.

The Air Base reported on social media that the four crew members onboard are in stable condition, and rescue teams quickly responded to the scene. The Air Base was secured after the crash, and the remainder of the air show was canceled.

The Air Base also mentioned in a statement that an investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances of the incident. This is not the first time such an accident has occurred at an air show, although previous incidents have had more tragic consequences.
