Set fire to the Barakah nuclear power plant in Emirates
A fire broke out on Sunday near the Barakah nuclear power plant in the United Arab Emirates after a drone strike.
According to the Emirati authorities, three drones penetrated the country’s airspace via the western border. Two were intercepted, while a third hit a power generator near the nuclear site. No injuries or increase in radioactivity have been reported.
The Director General of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, expressed his « profonde préoccupation “, judging « inacceptable » any military activity threatening nuclear safety.
“No concrete concession” from Washington to the Iranian offer
Iranian media say the United States has not granted “No concrete concession” in their response to Iranian proposals on the nuclear issue.
