In partnership with the ASCL and the Flamenco Puro association in Saint-Jean-de-Vedas, workshops to learn, deepen and practice flamenco dance and flamindi dance (barefoot flamenco fusion) are offered within the ASCL premises in the association house, this Saturday, May 23. They will be led by the dancer and choreographer Tatiana Ganoza, an emblematic figure of flamenco in Occitania, and her company Miracielo.

These workshops are open to all audiences (from 12 years old) with a program aimed at all levels, beginners or advanced. On the program: from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. “bulerias” workshop, introduction to rhythm, technique, gestures, structure and relationship with singing and guitar (open to all levels); from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. “sevillanas flamencas” workshop, choreographed sevillanas (initiation-beginner level), the opportunity to discover a different and very flamenco style to dance the sevillanas solo, in a duo or in a group; from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., introductory workshop on “flamindi” dance (barefoot flamenco fusion) inspired by the common roots of flamenco, gypsy dances from India and Mediterranean dances.
