We know that the former mayor of Montauban, campaigning for the senatorial elections with the support of the RN, has just announced the organization of a “big country party” of the UDR on July 3 in Tarn-et-Garonne.

“What can we say about the twice ineligible former local elected official, who goes from chewing gum to glue and who begins to call for her extremist party that she would like to see win in the 2027 presidential elections. I think that in her country meeting, there will be a lot of sausage,” quips the leader of Nouveau Montauban.

And Jean-Philippe Labarre continues: “The UDR is indeed an extreme right party allied with the RN whose figures are called Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, Éric Zemmour, Éric Ciotti, Jordan Bardella and a whole clique of people who are unbearable in their ideas. We will be there to prevent it and to reiterate the danger of trusting people like her. This is called citizen resistance.

Child Protection recovery plan: the CGT forces a door to invite itself to a meeting at the departmental council

Around fifty CGT activists, red banners of their union flying in the wind, were standing still on Tuesday May 12 around 1:45 p.m. in front of the gates of the Hôtel du Département, in Montauban. It was at this time that the new president of CD 82 Jean-Claude Bertelli was preparing to hold a meeting with the co-financiers of the Haute-Occitanie Child Protection, a social association placed in receivership since January 30, 2026.

Sébastien Turon, the departmental secretary of the UD-CGT, described this meeting as “crucial” and put pressure on politicians. In a press release co-signed by the CFE-CGC, the CGT considered its presence “essential” at this meeting during which the transition manager of the SEHOC was to present a plan to return the financial balance of the association… which shows a deficit of 5.4 million euros. The two unions also called for demonstrations this May 12 at 1:30 p.m., in front of the departmental council, associating this mobilization with the issue of Quercy Interventions Services (QIS), the employment association created in 2024 in Septfonds and which ceased its activity with 23 layoffs.

A gathering which degenerated somewhat when trade unionists wanted to invite themselves to the SEHOC work meeting… even if it meant forcing a door. “They wanted to discuss our future without us… They didn’t know our determination!”, justified the CGT departmental union of Health and Social Action in the evening. According to our information, CD 82 decided to file a complaint following these damages. However, President Jean-Claude Bertelli, accompanied by José Gonzalez, Nadine Sinopoli and Ghislain Descazeaux, “shared a time of discussion with the union representatives of the association’s staff on this sensitive issue”, indicates the departmental council in a diplomatic press release evoking its desire “listening and appeasement”.

Regarding the merits of the SEHOC file, “several scenarios for returning to financial balance” were presented during this meeting. “The Department is giving itself three weeks to study the proposals.”
