NORWOOD — Police have reported that a man has died following a crash on the Norwood Lateral on Saturday morning. The Norwood Police Department received a call about the crash around 3:30 a.m. It took place in the eastbound lanes of the Norwood Lateral near Forest Avenue. Emergency responders found an unresponsive male driver in a vehicle that had crashed on the highway. The man was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead. The eastbound lanes of the Norwood Lateral were shut down between Wesley Avenue and Interstate 71 for several hours in the morning while responders investigated the scene. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office is now looking into the cause of the crash.
