BFMTV correspondent in the United States was able to interview Donald Trump on negotiations with Iran. “They were supposed to conclude an agreement,” warned the American President.
In a telephone exchange granted to BFMTV, Donald Trump stated on Saturday, May 16 that he did not know if an agreement would be reached with Iran, on the 76th day of the war triggered by the United States and Israel.
“I have no idea. If they don’t, they will have a very bad time. They were supposed to conclude an agreement,” declared the American President to our correspondent in the United States, Antoine Heulard.
According to American press reports, including the New York Times, Donald Trump must decide in the coming hours whether to resume strikes against the Iranian regime, as discussions on ending the war and the Iranian nuclear program have not yet yielded results.
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, said Friday in New Delhi that he had received messages from Washington in favor of resuming negotiations to end the conflict affecting the Middle East, and expressed willingness to accept help from Beijing.
