The Montpellier-based data storage and protection specialist, Beemo Technologies, is introducing two new backup boxes for small and medium-sized businesses: BeeBox 1 and BeeBox 2. Beemo integrates Raid 1 mirroring technology for continuous data access in case of failure. The company stated that its entire range now includes Raid technology and highlighted that the BeeBox is compact and easy to install. They feature an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 8 GB of DDR5 RAM for high-performance multitasking, 2 2.5 gigabit network ports, and 2 SSD NVMe drives mounted in Raid 1 with capacities of 1TB for BeeBox 1 and 2TB for BeeBox 2. These boxes are currently available for distribution partners to order.

Beemo claims to have a truly sovereign approach to data backup, covering all aspects from development, infrastructure, ownership, to technical support, all based in France. Their approach is based on six pillars including exclusive data hosting in France, independence from extraterritorial legislations, end-to-end encryption with internal key management, application of the sovereign 3-2-1 principle, continuous backup monitoring, and French-based responsive technical support in the same time zone.

The publisher uses an in-house developed backup software called “Data Safe Restore.” Beemo’s Data Safe Restore is among the 91 trusted solutions for 2026, recently selected by the France Cybersecurity Label.
