But the couple refuses to give up. Only, in France, IVF possibilities become more complicated after the age of 43. Caroline Ithurbide then made the radical decision to continue her journey in Barcelona. “Overnight“, she makes multiple trips to Spain to try her luck one last time. And it is finally during the fourth IVF that the miracle occurs. “I finally got pregnant on the fourth IVF, the last one we planned“, she confides.

Throughout this period, the host chooses to remain very discreet. She explains that she experienced this ordeal “almost behind closed doors†with her husband. It’s also a way of protecting your two eldest children from the pressure and disappointments linked to the different attempts. “I didn’t want my children to live at the pace of these attempts“, she explains.
