The adapted sports tournament organized by Asfac caught attention on Thursday, May 14th. The 7th edition of the Ligue des Petits Princes was well attended by participants from all over France. Despite somewhat disappointing weather, the delegations were able to enjoy the hospitality and dive right into the competition.
Starting on Wednesday and lasting late into the evening, the youngest participants set the tone. Around a thousand people attended, helping the organizing team prepare for the competition. The events for ten different categories took place on various fields in Frontignan, Mireval, Gigean, and Vic-la-Gardiole.
The standout addition to the program was the adapted sports tournament. It not only showcased the players’ progress on the field but also highlighted the importance of acceptance and overcoming prejudices. The Muscatier club emphasized the creation of an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive regardless of their physical or mental abilities during recreational or competitive physical activities.
Representatives from Langogne, filled with joy and enthusiasm, expressed that this operation should be repeated. The message of inclusivity and empowerment resonated with the collective spirit.
One of the initial matches involved players from three establishments in Lozère and Ardèche facing off against the Muscatiers. Boulogne-Billancourt (ACBB) and US Eguilles were also part of the competition.
