The world of cinema and television is once again in mourning after the disappearance of Chantal Nobel, who died on April 30 at the age of 77. According to her youngest daughter Anne-Charlotte Julian, the actress died “peacefully” at her home in Ramatuelle, where she remained “combative until the end”. An essential star of the cult series Châteauvallon, she made her mark in the 1980s before seeing her career abruptly come to an end after a serious road accident in 1985. This drama put a definitive end to her public life, with the actress moving away totally from the sets and the show business world. During his funeral, celebrated on May 7 at the Ramatuelle church, discretion was required, with very few personalities present. But one arrival was particularly surprising: that of Loulou Kitchen, an influencer followed by more than 2.4 million subscribers on Instagram, who Internet users discovered to be the granddaughter of Chantal Nobel.

Loulou Kitchen accused of piston: she responds after the death of her grandmother Chantal Nobel

Known for several years on the Internet, Loulou Kitchen had never publicly mentioned her relationship with Chantal Nobel until now. A revelation which therefore surprised many Internet users, some going so far as to accuse him of nepotism and a “piston” behind his success. Among the reactions, one remark particularly sparked a reaction: “This is going to disappoint a lot of people, those who thought that Loulou Kitchen had been built alone, starting from nothing in her mini kitchen.” Faced with this wave of criticism, the influencer wanted to respond firmly, while ensuring that she prefers “laugh about it”. “It’s not thanks to my grandmother who was known in the 80s, so forty years ago, […] that I succeeded. You can well imagine that it was not my grandmother, a recluse in her village, and whom no one calculated for forty years, who created my accounts”, Loulou Kitchen notably insisted in a video posted on her TikTok account.

“Struggles” before success on social networks

In the rest of her video, Loulou Kitchen insists on a journey that is far from easy, recalling that her name has not simplified anything in her success, even less her link with Chantal Nobel. “I also experienced my struggles, my problems, my pain”, and details: “I had a very difficult school career which led me to stop school at 17 and with the support and love of my parents, I was able to develop other things. I “I was a saleswoman for eight years, I earned 1,500 euros per month,” she explains. “It wasn’t my grandmother who applied for me or who pushed me,” insists the influencer, continuing: “You don’t know people’s lives or their finances. My grandfather was a film producer in the years. 70 (editor’s note: Jacques-Henri Martin), he lost everything, he was sleeping in his bathtub.” Regardless of the critics, Loulou Kitchen intends to put an end to the idea of a completely mapped out route or one made easier by a famous name. A word to the wise!
