On Saturday, May 9th, Raf (5th) secured their spot in the play-offs by beating Annecy (1-2) during the 34th and final day of Ligue 2.

“It’s always complicated in a match like this, where we lead 2-0. We may have thought we were too comfortable, but against a team with so much quality, we can’t afford that. It wasn’t always easy, but I think we did well to contain them after conceding a goal, showing maturity despite our youth. The players are growing with each match. Some of them debuted in Ligue 2 this season, experiencing an extraordinary adventure. Having to win, not being able to settle for a draw, is not easy for such a young team, but they managed it. There was no stress at the beginning, it arose as the match progressed, especially when Annecy put pressure on us in the second half. I am proud of my players. It’s a pride for the whole club to be where we are.”
