SHANGHAI, 30 avril 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The 93rd China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), and its related industry events, concluded successfully on April 12 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) after four days of exhibitions and exchanges. Under the theme « Innovation Fusion, Boundless Evolution »,CMEF 2026 brought together more than 300,000 participants from more than 150 countries and regions. Companies from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Russia and Malaysia, introduced new products during the fair.
As the leading international platform for the medical and healthcare sector, CMEF 2026 showcased the latest advancements in medical devices and related industrial chains, with thousands of first-of-its-kind medical innovations. This fair promotes effective connectivity and collaboration throughout the upstream and downstream industrial chain, while accelerating the integration of innovative technologies into real-world applications, thereby facilitating the transformation of research and development breakthroughs into commercialized solutions, which has strengthened the role of the fair in advancing high-quality development within the healthcare industry.
The CMEF 2026 MEDCONGRESS organized more than 100 high-level forums in four areas: Technology and Innovation, Clinical and Application, Policy and Regulation, and Industry and Commerce. Sessions focused on key topics such as AI in healthcare, brain-computer interfaces, senior economics and regulatory affairs. Thousands of business leaders, hospital directors, academics and executives came together to encourage the integration of industry, academia and research and drive innovation in medicine and healthcare.
The show hosted 19 WeTalk Stage sessions focused on key overseas markets such as Russia, Brazil and ASEAN, covering topics such as global product launches, national days, regulatory interpretations and export training camps. Nearly 10 WeTour guided tours welcomed visitors from consulates, hospitals and distributors representing Sweden, Finland, Italy and other countries.
