METOO – Eight women accuse French artist of sexual violence, according to a Mediapart investigation
Pioneers? In any case, actresses Andréa Bescond, Alexandra Lamy, and Chloé Jouannet (his daughter) were the first to comment on the accusations of sexual violence on their social networks – revealed by Mediapart – against French actor and singer Patrick Bruel.
A precedent with Andréa Bescond
In an Instagram post, actress, novelist, screenwriter, and director Andréa Bescond published a long message recalling an event from several years ago…
“In 2022, you crashed a feminist festival party where I was on the jury. You played the victim because I refused to come, I boycotted you, and you went off to another party in my hotel room,” she recounted. “You bad-mouthed me all over Paris” and concluded with “Strength to you sisters. And F**k you, Patrick.”
Support from Alexandra Lamy and other personalities
Alexandra Lamy also reacted in the comments of her friend’s post: “I was at the party with you! Bravo, my Andréa,” she wrote, correcting herself: “Another party!! Sorry, got carried away… And what a night!! Love u.”
Then Chloe Jouannet, Alexandra Lamy’s daughter, posted a story on Instagram with a caption “Finally” in bold letters. The message from Andréa Bescond was also applauded by presenter Nora Malgarey, who commented “V(…)”.
