Bordeaux. Photo Month continues with an exhibition dedicated to the famous British photographer, who died last December. In the gardens of the Cité du vin, 28 images created between 1988 and 2023 offer a look that is both sharp and mischievous on our ways of living. Festive scenes and moments of relaxation rub shoulders with the “Flowers” ​​series, which extends the observation of human behavior, social rituals and the staging of everyday life: tasty portraits of the ordinary, in England as elsewhere.

Gauriac. Château Lacouture is hosting a new edition of the BD & wine festival, bringing together many figures of the ninth art. The public will be able to meet emblematic authors and designers such as Thierry Coppée (who signed the poster for the event), Bast, Jean-Christophe Mazurie, Serge Ernst, Serge Le Tendre, Espé and Pica. The program particularly highlights the heroic fantasy universes of the “Lands of Ogon” and “Wars of Arran” sagas in the presence of their creators, Nicolas Jarry and Jean-Luc Istin, accompanied by other associated authors. In terms of entertainment, a revisited manga area will host cosplayer KuroLilith, while actress Brigitte Lecordier (historic French voice of Dragon Ball) will present her first comic book during a round table.

Saint-Émilion. The Club éphémère invites the Libourne group Moonshine for an evening dedicated to alternative rock. In order to adapt to the venue, the band exceptionally offers an acoustic and folk-tinged version of its repertoire. The public will be able to discover a unique universe, the result of the mix of musical cultures of the members of the group, combining influences of metal, reggae, funk and hip-hop pulses.

Based in Agen and bringing together around thirty professionals and excellent amateurs from Aquitaine and from Occitanie, the Garonne Brass Band directed by Julien Thore will continue with original pieces for brass and jazz.
