In its search for diversity and decentralization, in May, the Théâtre + Cinéma offers a wide range of shows. Dance, theater, circus, or music, the range of performances in May is wide open at Théâtre + Cinéma. From May 7th, it’s “Entrée des Artistes” that will be presented, a piece where Ahmed Madani questions young actors about their desire to perform. On May 8th and 9th, Nicolas Bonneau and Fanny Chériaux offer an immersive walk with storytelling in Coursan and Bages. On May 23rd, “A La Renverse” presents the dilemma of two adolescents between leaving and staying. In dance, Compagnie Portes Sud will offer “Paradox” between choreography and cabaret on May 12th and 13th at 8 p.m. Two circus shows are presented. On May 26th and 27th, the giant aquarium of the Out Of The Blue Company will be playing “Naáde” in Somail. And on May 31st, in downtown Narbonne on Cours Mirabeau, the Lonely Circus company will set up for the Book Fair. The orchestra Divertimento, directed by Zahia Ziouani, will perform on May 28th with music by Debussy, Ravel, De Falla, Respighi, at the Salle Rouge. And as part of a photographic exhibition portraying a neighborhood, the musicians of Jur will play on May 22nd at 7 p.m. at the Grand Narbonne de Razimbaud. For 12 days, the cinema aspect of the flagship of Narbonne culture will focus on Cannes with a formula of “2 movies and a meal for 35 euros” on May 21st, featuring official selections. Théâtre + Cinéma continues to be a place of exchange and life. Before the end of the season, three evenings will be dedicated to presenting the works of students specializing in art at the Lycée Docteur Lacroix, the first being dedicated to dance on May 12th. On May 20th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., dancer Mickaël Frappat will offer a dance workshop. On May 16th, Daniel Tozzi will lead a philosophy workshop from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on the theme “Why metamorphose oneself and especially change gender?”
