The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed on Sunday that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi would travel to Russia, reported Russian state agencies, without specifying a date or whether he would meet Vladimir Putin. “We confirm Araghchi’s visit to Russia for talks,” the ministry said, as reported by the agencies, after the announcement by the Iranian ambassador in Russia that Abbas Araghchi would meet with the Russian president in Moscow on Monday to discuss ongoing peace negotiations in the Middle East.
