Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu recently revealed that he underwent treatment for prostate cancer, marking his first public acknowledgment of the diagnosis. Approximately a year and a half ago, he had prostate surgery, followed by the discovery and treatment of a small tumor with radiation therapy about two and a half months ago at Jerusalem’s Hadassah Hospital. Netanyahu explained that the delay in announcing his condition was intentional to avoid distraction during heightened tensions related to Iran. The 76-year-old leader appears to be in good health after the treatment.
