On Wednesday, the CinéMo made a stop in Monastier-sur-Gazeille, offering a unique and accessible cultural experience to everyone.
This special truck houses a real mobile cinema with 72 seats, offering free screenings to a wide audience.
The CinéMo is a traveling cinema project that travels through Haute-Loire, with stops in places like Les Estables and Monastier-sur-Gazeille. Supported locally by the Mézenc-Loire-Meygal community of municipalities, this initiative aims to make culture accessible to all, especially in rural areas.
Developed with the support of the Art Explora and Canal+ foundations, this innovative setup provides a quality of projection and sound comparable to that of a traditional cinema. “Beyond the technical aspect, it is truly a human and cultural approach that drives the project: reaching out to residents and creating connections around cinema,” emphasizes the community team.
An inclusive and engaging program includes films for all ages, short and feature films, documentaries, and animations. The diverse programming covers topics such as tolerance, inclusion, and cultural discovery. Workshops and exchange sessions further enrich these moments.
The CinéMo continues its journey and will stop in Les Estables on Thursday.
